Addressing Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs) in Tanzania

Policy Forum held the March 2024 Breakfast Debate in collaboration with Stanbic Bank Biashara Incubator, which focused on shedding light on Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs) and identifying key loopholes that the government must address to effectively combat this issue. The discussions delved into various facets of IFFs, highlighting their detrimental impact on the economy and the urgent need for concerted efforts to curb them.

Policy Forum and PCCB launch booklet to fight election-related corruption

Policy Forum, in collaboration with the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) on the 26th of October, 2009 launched a Swahili booklet to fight corruption in elections. Entitled: 'Makosa ya Rushwa katika Chaguzi Tanzania', the booklet aims to help educate communities on how to recognise and fight acts of corruption during elections.

This is a second publication in collaboration with the PCCB as part of PF's objective of popularising policy and legislation documents by rendering them simple to mass audiences.

Policy Forum Member To Host Anti-Corruption Tracker System In Tanzania

Agenda Participation 2000, a Policy Forum member organisation, is to develop and host an anti-Corruption tracker system in Tanzania. The system which is unique and the first of its kind in Tanzania, is aimed at increasing the level of transparency in the fight against corruption. The anti corruption tracker system will be an electronic online system tracking and documenting all reported and available cases of corruption since the year 2000.
