The growing demand for critical minerals at the global level is experienced differently across resource-rich countries in Africa. New search and investment boom in these minerals must be handled with a specialty for countries like Tanzania to secure an optimal benefit. The geopolitical interest (interest of the global north) in critical minerals can be a cause of frustration to resource-rich African countries if not well managed. On the other hand, the interest in controlling the critical mineral’s supply chain could benefit more the developed (user) Countries than the supplier countries such as Tanzania.
In line with the above context, HakiRasilimali humbly invites you to participate in the dialogue themed “Leveraging Global Demand for Critical Minerals to Scale up Social Economic Development in Tanzania”.
