You are cordially invited to a special session on to discuss whether figures on the economic 'growth' in Tanzania reflect the day-to-day realities experienced by citizens. Policy Forum member to host Anti-Corruption Tacker System in Tanzania

Agenda Participation 2000, a Policy Forum member organisation, is to develop and host an anti-Corruption tracker system in Tanzania. The system which is unique and the first of its kind in Tanzania, is aimed at increasing the level of transparency in the fight against corruption. The anti corruption tracker system will be an electronic online system tracking and documenting all reported and available cases of corruption since the year 2000.

Constituency Development Fund in Tanzania: the Right Solution?

Policy Forum has produced an Analytical Think pieace on the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The CDF is an additional means of financing (sourced from domestic revenue) for community-driven development that is managed at the constituency level by Members of Parliament (‘MPs’). As such it supplements, or operates parallel to existing funding mechanisms for local government. This analytical think piece discusses whether or not Tanzania needs an additional development fund like the CDF.
