Policy Forum publishes Citizens' Budget

Policy Forum has released a simplified version of the national budget for the financial year 2010/11 as part of its objective towards encouraging active citizens’ voice through the popularisation of government documents.  Policy Forum believes and making budgetary information more accessible to the public through simplification encourages public interest and participation in decisions on how their money is acquired and spent.

Collaborating with Parliament to make the most of Extractive Industries in Tanzania

A presentation made during a meeting for implementers of Parliamentary Pilot projects held in Dar es Salaam in May 2010.  The projects are designed to equip legislators, parliamentary staff, CSOs and media with the baseline knowledge, intellectual resources, and training to effectively oversee the executive’s management of the extractive sectors.
