Policy Forum and The Center for Social Accountability (CSA) of the Rhodes University of South Africa has organized a simplified and localized version of the fundamentals of Social Accountability Monitoring course in Tanzania as pilot study to be conducted on 1^st – 12^th March 2010 in Morogoro, Tanzania.

The Revenue Watch Institute (RWI) and the Oil for Development Program (OfD) of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation are pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for the 2010 Capacity Advancement Fellowship in Extractives (CA Fellows)  program.
The deadline for application is March 19th 2010.
The program seeks to broaden and deepen the role of the next generation of civil society activists in promoting the better management of oil, gas and minerals for the public good. 

Background: The overall objective of USAID/Tanzania’s Leadership Training Program is to provide the U.S. based academic training (at the Master’s Degree level) required to strengthen the base of skilled, high performing professionals in Tanzania.

REPOA invites members of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs),
the media and locally elected leaders such as Councilors to a training workshop on Government-Budget Analysis.  This training is important to members of the society who play an oversight role in the processes of planning, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation of government development initiatives at both national and council levels.
