Conference on Mobilizing Tax Revenue for Development: Opportunities and Challenges for Africa - Tax Justice Network- Africa

The conference aims to provide a platform for researchers and policy practitioners to generate ideas and proposals, through open-minded debate and discussions, which will inform and shape initiatives and campaigns being undertaken by African policy makers and Civil Society Organizations.

The workshop will enable presenters to interact and share their experience and explore possible solutions that would contribute to strengthening domestic resource mobilization capacity of African countries. The conference will gather leading experts and researchers from Africa and beyond to discuss and elaborate on domestic and international factors impeding Africa’s resource Mobilization efforts. They will present proposals of what civil society organizations, national governments and international bodies can do to address these challenges.

The conference languages will be both English and French.
