CSOs National Consultation meeting on MKUKUTA Review Findings and Recommendations

This is a national level meeting of CSOs stakeholders brining in key representatives from CSOs working in Tanzania. Information will also be shared to CSOs networks for greater dissemination to their constituencies. The main goal of the meeting is to consult CSOs actors in Tanzania on the MKUKUTA review studies results and MKUKUTA reports that will be used to inform the drafting of the second MKUKUTA.

The meeting aims at fulfilling the following specific objectives by the time the meeting ends;
i.    CSOs actors attending the meeting are well informed on the status, content and direction of the MKUKUTA review and drafting process and how they can continue to engage.
ii.    CSOs actors attending the meeting are well informed on the content, findings and recommendations of the MKUKUTA review studies and latest reports from the MKUKUTA Monitoring system (MDGR, PHDR, MAIR etc)
iii.    CSOs actors give feedback and inputs to the drafting team in relation to the findings and recommendations of the MKUKUTA review studies and reports from MKUKUTA monitoring system.
iv.    CSOs actors attending the meeting are equipped with information to share with their constituencies in preparation for the consultation on Draft 1 of the MKUKUTA that will follow.
v.    CSOs actors attending the meeting commit to share widely to other networks and their constituencies the information and outcomes from the meeting.

In implementing this activity the following outputs are envisaged:
i.    Contacts and Informed CSOs actors for further engagement in the MKUKUTA review process.
ii.    Documented CSOs inputs and feedback on the MKUKUTA studies and reports to inform the drafting team and other stakeholders.
iii.    Resolution/ commitment by the attending CSOs actors to disseminate widely information shared in the meeting and involve other actors in the coming review processes.
iv.    Inputs from CSOs actors to the CSOs MKUKUTA review steering committee on how to ensure greater participation of CSOs actors in the review process
