Special Briefing and Discussion on Economic Growth at the British Council: Is Growth in Tanzania Helping the Poor?

Dear All,

You are cordially invited to a special session on to discuss whether figures on the economic 'growth' in Tanzania reflect the day-to-day realities experienced by citizens. The session and press briefing is scheduled for Monday the 9th of March 2009 titled, "Is Growth in Tanzania Helping the Poor? What do the figures tell us?"

The main presentations will be made by Adolf Mkenda and Remidius Ruhinduka of the

The debate will be held at the British Council in the City Centre, Dar es Salaam  between 8:45am to 10:15am.
