Policy Forum has a Board of Directors that reflects the diversity of its members. Board of Directors are drawn from the PF membership. PF Board of Directors meet quarterly to review and provide guidance to PF's Secretariat. The Board of Directors are as follows:

Jovina Nawenzake| Board Member

Jovina Nawenzake is the Head of Program and Policy of ActionAid-Tanzania. Action Aid is a global movement of people working together to further human rights and defeat poverty for all. Her organisation was elected to be in the board in 2016.

Hebron Mwakagenda | Vice Chairperson

Hebron Mwakagenda is the Executive Director of The Leadership Forum, an organization that strives to see individuals; men and women release their leadership potentials in creating opportunities for the well being of all humanity in society. His organisation was elected to be in the board in 2016.

Nemence Iriya| Board Member

Nemence Iriya, is the Director of Manyara Region Civil Society Organizations Network (MACSNET). MACSNET is a coalition of CSO's that operates in Manyara Region with a focus on poverty eradication and sustainable human development through lobbying and advocacy. His organisation was elected to be in the board in 2016.

 
Bakar Khamis | Board Chairperson

Bakar Khamis, is the Regional Director of Kepa - The Finnish NGOs Platform which has 300 member organizations in Finland. Kepa's Regional Office is located in Tanzania but covers both the Tanzania and Mozambique country offices. There are more than 30 Finnish NGOs that work in Tanzania with almost 60 Finnish NGO projects throughout the country. Kepa doesn't have its own projects or separate programmes in Tanzania but supports its member organizations' local partners. It also strengthens the participation of civil society in development policy work through its own Tanzanian partner organizations. 

 
Semkae Kilonzo| Board Secretary

Semkae Kilonzo began work at Policy Forum in 2007 as the lead responsible for media, communication and advocacy at the network’s secretariat office as part of the organisation’s desire to see policy analysis information widely disseminated to policy makers, civil society and the general public. He has since assumed the role of Coordinator, heading the Secretariat. Semkae, is in the Policy Forum Board as the Board Secretary.

Amani Mustapha| Board Member

Amani Mustapha is the Executive Director of HakiMadini. HakiMadini is the rights based organisation in the mining sector which advocates for a more equitable distributions of Tanzanians abundant natural wealth. It focus on strengthening voices, connecting various stakeholders for collective engagement, and working together to protect the rights of small scale mining communities, ensuring transparency and accountability and that Tanzanian’s benefit from a pro poor mining sector. 

Kidani Magwilla| Board Member

Kidani Magwilla is a program officer of Tanzania Network of Community Health Fund (TNCHF). The vision of the TNCHF is to become a highly competent network that facilitates access to quality health care for majority. The mission is to facilitate capacity development for strong and efficiently working Community Health Funds and Health Micro Insurance Schemes.

Dr. Peter Bujari | Member Member

Dr. Peter Bujari is the Executive Director of Health Promotion Tanzania. He has ten years of experience in management position and acquired expert in policy analysis and advocacy, project design, monitoring and evaluation. He also has outstanding skills in organizational management and change management. Graduated from University of Dar ES Salaam as Medical doctor, he also has Masters in Business Administration of Blekinge Institute of Technology.
