Policy Forum has a Board of Directors that reflects the diversity of its members. Board of Directors are drawn from the PF membership. PF Board of Directors meet quarterly to review and provide guidance to PF's Secretariat. The Board of Directors are as follows:
Maimuna Kanyamala represents Kivulini Women's Rights Organisation which is based in Mwanza, Tanzania. In Kiswahili, Kivulini means "in the shade." The word implies a place under the tree where people discuss and support each other. Kivulini is committed to empowering women by working with the community to create an environment of safety, equality and respect. It also mobilises men by raising awareness, facilitating dialogue and advocating for change.
Rose Mushi represents Actionaid which facilitates the process of Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) monitoring in all its program areas (education, HIV/AIDS, gender, agriculture, and food security) through local partners. The PRS monitoring includes independent and multi-stakeholder monitoring of government performance, including tracking flow of funds, corruption, and service delivery.
